I had the privilege of being on the Royal Caribbean's "Allure of the Seas" for it's 2 day pre inaugural cruise last November and again this past March when I escorted a group for a week cruise.  WOW, what a ship, there is something for everyone.   Even Oprah announced “Allure of the Seas” as one of her 2010 favourite things!

Allure of the Seas sails from Ft. Lauderdale on alternate weekly cruises to the Eastern and Western Caribbean.  Let me help you bring your cruise vacation to new heights with a little information on this Dream Cruise.

As you board the "Allure of the Seas", you enter the Royal Promenade deck which is lined with Cafe-style eateries, boutiques and specialty shops with everything from designer duds to exquisite jewelry, along with the first Starbucks upon the seas. You have the Boardwalk with it's Carousel and ice-cream parlour, Johnny Rockets diner plus the AquaTheatre where you can see the Oceanaria Aqua show, a highly choreographed water show featuring high divers tumbling from towering heights into a 17 foot-deep pool - the deepest at seas, (a must to see).  Take a walk through Central Park's pathways which evolves from a tranquil and peaceful atmosphere during the day to a gathering space for dining and entertainment in the evening. Connecting these decks is the "Rising Tide" an open-air elevator, shaped like a ship that doubles as a bar where patrons can order drinks during the ride.

The entertainment is amazing and the Allure has it all with its Tony award-winning Broadway show "Chicago" and the Blue Planet music, dance and aerial acrobatics extravaganza performing in the 1,380-seat Amber Theatre. You will also find the Headliner Show and the 3-D movies in the Amber Theatre. 

The Dream Works Experience, in which characters from Shrek, Kung Fu Panda and other DreamWorks Animation films appear every where from stage shows to theme breakfasts. You will find the spectacular Ice Show in Studio B with an international cast of world-class skaters who will amaze you with their artistry, skill and athleticism in elaborately costumed and musical production numbers. Smaller venues provide additional entertainment, from jazz to live comedy. Feeling lucky or make a contribution when you play at the spacious Casino Royale.

While I was on the pre inaugural cruise, I had the opportunity to view every accommodation category from the two-story ocean view contemporary Loft Suites, Grand Suites, Junior Suites, Family Suites, Outside Cabins with Balconies that face either the Sea or overlook open-air Interior, Ocean-view cabins, and  Interior Cabins, some of which overlook the Inside Promenade. With 28 ultra-modern Loft Suites and 2,700 spacious Staterooms, this 16-deck masterpiece proves that the impossible, is possible.  You have to see it to believe it.
