Playa Puerto Cruz in Margarita Island, Venezuela

If you are tired of the seemingly routine life in the beach and are seeking for a more exhilarating vacation in the Caribbean, then no need to fret as these paradise-like islands are also home to a wide selection of outdoorsy activities that would surely keep the blood pumping in your body all day long.

From joining diving excursions in Bonaire and swimming with orange trumpetfish and bright yellow and blue queen angelfish to windsurfing in relatively shallow waters in the magnificent resort island of Margarita, you’d surely get your hands full (and wet) with all the adventure package tours waiting for you!

Just like what Daily Mail UK Travel writer Amy Watkins did during her Caribbean cruise worth  £1,179 per person for 14 days jam-packed with activities, she snorkeled with “yellow and black striped sergeant major fish, blue chubs and parrotfish” and found herself “attached to a zip-wire and about to whizz through the jungle canopy” (“Cruise Holidays: Have a High Old Time on the Caribbean’s ‘Tarzan Tour’"). She mentions that she got tired of the usual tanning on the beach and opted for bolder activities “all in the name of fun”.

Here’s an exciting excerpt from her recent article:

Even from the boat we could see the turtles gliding through the blue water and, after strapping on snorkels, we joined these graceful giants in the water. They quickly swam around us, surfacing every now and then to gulp air.
